I'm a big Stern fan, have sirius right next to me at work everyday and in my Durango. I heard something happened to Artie but they wouldn't say what. What the fuck...Love the guy, hope he's ok.

I know Julie loves him too. Poor guy, can you imagine the desperation? Wait a minute, I do know that desperation!! Howard is beside himself, I think he would go postal on the media if they came near him today.

Why do you have a fever, Ange? Do you have a fever and the only prescription is more cow bell?

Damned Boag...we gotta keep you away from the tequilla!

It was a spring like day here today...a whopping 45 degrees, but sunny and it felt great!

I did the Netflix thing I was talking about, and am streaming from my computor to the TV with an Xbox360. It's great. For $9 a month it's a great deal and you can watch all the movies you want. Watched Seven Pounds last night. Keep in mind I only got about 6 channels before so I'm in Heaven
Now I'm tempted to buy a new LCD TV...I've been shopping and studying up on them and just waiting for the right deal....and me to have a moment when I'm not in cheap bastard mode.

Let me go shopping with you, Mano. You'll end up with a 72" LCD TV that also does your grocery shopping and predicts your future.

Which reminds me... I need a new TV.

Go for an OLED TV, organic LEDs. Anything else, you may as well buy a radio.

Shopped...went to the grocery store, Sams club for dog food, and then shopping for LCD's in stores and on-line. Holy shit there are a zillion different models and options, which I've been researching on-line. Then every retailer has their version of an extended warranty, and from what I read you really want an extended warranty on these things. One salesman today told me the average life of a bigscreen lcd TV is 5 years. I hate buying shit like this because I over analyze everything, but I hate being screwed even more.

Too bad I didn't study suboxone this hard before buying it. Oh well, I was on DOPE. I guess that's what Reckitt relies on

Peek-a-boo!

Well hello all. Just popping in to say hi to everyone. And let you all
know I'm still hanging in & doing fine.

Actually, better than fine. Great!

(long story short)

I have some health issues I've been dealing with. (THX to WLS I had in 2001)
Ended up hospitalized not by choice. But was the best thing that happened
to me. I ended up having a blood transfusion & iron transfusion. Plus
bunches of other vitamins & good stuff by IV that my body was totally
depleted of.
I'd been dealing with severe chronic fatigue for so long. But after treatment
I started slowly getting up my energy & actually feeling good again.
Once I started feeling better I wanted to get out & go. Do things, be
with ppl. Spend more time with my family. Getting out & doing things.
Sooooo, the computer hasn't been a priority for me anymore. I spend
very little time here, (or at home even) anymore. And when home am
actually being more productive. Taking on projects here in the house,
chatting with friends on the phone more & actually have started
cooking and baking again. Enjoying it. LOL...gaining weight to. (but needed to.)

Sorry, haven't caught up here, or even read much to know what's up
with everyone. Just wanted to say hi to you all & let you know I'm
doing good & let you know why I've been MIA awhile.

Well, dinner about done, hubby about to be home. So I gotta go!

Bye for now!

don't you guys have that Consumer Report thing? I don't know how reliable that is anyway but as far as TV goes the industry gives awards every year, best in for every class.

You can't go wrong with a top Philips, Sony Bravia or those new 600Hz Panasonics. Just make sure they're showing you the same TV quality you're getting at home. Shops like to throw in a blu-ray and it looks realer than life but then you come home connect to cable and it's worse than your old TV.

Is anyone else getting wet? It's 50 degrees here, it rained hard all night, all the snow is gone, and we are getting flooding. I haven't been out yet except to get the newspaper, but it looks bad. I live above a creek and it is raging, but I am way above it and dry. This is weird, flooding in January. At least it's not more snow I guess!

It literally poured here in SoCal for 5 miserable days...torrential. High winds & flooding...we even had a tornado.

Ended...finally...on Saturday. Blue skies again. Did we send the rains to you?
