I appreciate the imagery myself! |

OMG, I don't want to shop anymore. I think I am done w/ my kids. I got my son a "Red Rider" BB gun, yes I know, he probably will shoot his eye out. I have not gotten one thing for my DH, he is the hardest person to buy for EVER!!! I still have to get one more gift for the kids to exchange at school and get gift cards for the teachers. Aaaaand I have not even started cutting out the chain people thingy's. My house is a mess, cuz I have been gone for 2 days. I want to cry, i am tired, crabby and I don't want to clean my house or cut out these damn chain people. FML
And my energy is so up and down, up and down, it's driving me nuckin futs!!!]
Thanks for the Idea's Tubal. |

Holy cold snap...it was negative 3 degrees this morning, and it won't get above freezing for the next 5 days at least. Looks like a white Christmas anyways.
I went and saw an old friend and his wife last night and took them a platter of cookies. I had heard they were down on their luck a little and I'm really glad I went to visit....We had a nice visit and I think it lifted all of our spirits a little.
Well, I'm off to brave the mad shoppers once again The stores aren't too bad, but the traffic and parking is a real challenge.

Hey Mano..everytime you speak of the weather I get the idea you are in my neck of the woods. Are you in the NY/NJ Tri state area? just curious.......It was over 40 early in the week, and single digits last night..Don't know whether to bring a fleece, or a serious winter coat these days. We are supposed to get 6-10 inches of snow as well ....yep. White Xmas it is. For me, who cares. I have no family around here, no real family in general..so, white , black or blue.....bout the same to me unfortunately. |

I hear ya, Tommy.
I miss living in N'Awlins & wearing shorts on Christmas.
Instead, I'm stuck with 4 in. of snow & the heavy bands, haven't EVEN gotten here yet.
Hundreds of accidents...not kidding...and my neighbor is trying to get his car unstuck, as I type. Fucker better not hit my car.
Forecast for my parents, in Va & all points northeast...18 to 24 inches, Yikes! Mano & hattik..heading right for you guys.
I HATE snow.

I love snow and I'm so envious of all you people who get snow... and yet have the nerve to complain!

Yea snow is nice for about 8 hours and then it just sucks. Of course BOAGER would probably like it all the time. From inside her heated house. Cuddled with a hot SO. Laughing at all the people falling down outside . Yay winter!

The snow didn't come yet, Meems. It's supposed to start around midnight tonight. Great. But I will be in search of a boy today. I will scope out the neighborhood and see who looks big and strong....and cute. Then once the snow begins, I will break out my hot chocolate maker and whip up a batch of nice hot chocolate with whip cream, then sit by my window and watch the cute boy shovel snow...while sipping my hot chocolate.
Oh, and then I will invite him in and offer him a cup, of course.
And then perhaps offer to dry his cold, wet clothes for him.
Okay, I just had to smack myself in the head to snap me back to reality. It was a nice little daydream, though....
Oh! And some REALLY good news I have to share!!! I just went for my six-month bloodwork for my liver, and the Hep C virus is STILL undetecable!!! So at this point, six months post-treatment and no sign of the virus, my doctor said I am basically cured!! I was kinda shocked he said that, but that's what he said! He said the strain of Hep C I have is the best (if there is one) and easiest one to treat, and that if it hasn't come back at the six-month point, then it ain't comin' back!!! AND he said that my liver WILL be able to repair most of the damage that's been done so far. I will never have a COMPLETELY healthy liver, but close to it, he said.
So I am VERY happy about this news!!! That f-ing treatment was THE worst thing I've ever gone through in my life, and if I had gone through that hell for nothing, I would have been PISSED beyond belief! But that didn't happen! And the horrendous treatment worked!
So yayyyyy for me!
Mano, how are YOU doing with this???? How's YOUR liver???? You're good, right???
Anybody else here have Hep C???
Okay, I just had to tell you all the good news!

I really hope you find a cute boy today, or should we say boy/man, NO jail bait for you. He must at least have pubic hair, lol.
I want pic's of the snow angel I know you will run out and make.
